The Twins record for hits allowed in a complete game shutout is 13, by Jim “Mudcat” Grant on July 15, 1964. There have been three 11-hit complete game shutouts in Twins history: Jim Kaat on 7/11/71, Rick Lysander on 8/1/83, and Carlos Silva on 8/3/04.

Single-Game RBI Record

The Twins single-game RBI record is eight, originally set by Glenn Adams in 1977, and tied by Randy Bush in 1989. The previous record was seven, set by Bob Allison in 1961, and matched by Harmon Killebrew, Brant Alyea (twice), and Bobby Darwin.
